Very good experience. Excellent staff, all of them very friendly and helpfull! Will definatley use Kliphuijs in future. Good food, although a little bit expensive. Overall it was a lekker place to stay.

A lovely overnight stop over mid way between Johannesburg and Cape Town
Room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the linen was upmarket
We had dinner there which was delicious and well presented
Rika who is the manager was very hospitable

It was a calm and cosy place. The hosts are extremely friendly. Safe and secure parking. The service level provided was like you are staying in a 5 star. Therr is place for the kids to play and for adults to unwind.

Rika, our host, went out of her way to make our stay special and even upgraded our unit. The unit we occupied was beautifully decorated and private.

Do yourself a favour and ask for a menu for supper /Lamb Pie with Veg was amazing!!
After a long drive and late arrival at GuestHouse our food was ready in our room!! Service 10/10

Interior decorating was something really special. Rooms & bathroom was exceptionally large. Large kitchen with most what you need for a short stay.

This is a very comfortable place to stay, particularly during the hot weather months. The pool is good and the very beautiful garden helps to keep things cool. Richmond doesn't have much going for it and seems to have given up being South Africa's "Book Town", or at least isn't trying very hard to merit that listing. The Kliphuis raises the standard of accomodation available in these dusty Karoo towns and deserves to succeed.
