The hospitality of every single person working at Shalati was amazing and felt genuine. The food and drink options were perfect and our game driver Mikhenso was a true professional. We have enjoyed ourselfs from start to finish.

Our guide Tyrone and trackers Mashaba/Forward were amazing. We assume we were very fortunate since we saw the big 5 within 6 hours. We also - thanks to the guide and tracker - had amazing leopard sightings. We had an amazing time and definitely would love to come back. Recommended!! Game viewings were good and we saw a lot. Good food and lots of it. Organised and well planned. Nice bedrooms with luxury and also more rustic in nature. Good location.

What an amazing place, to be able to stay in the middle of Kruger on a river bed, is an absolutely amazing experience! The game drives and bush walk were absolutely amazing and the guides were super knowledgeable and professional (the best safaris we had in all of Kruger). Food was really good as well and all the staff was super friendly and helpful! The glamping adds to the whole experience and then being able to dip in the pool in between game drives is surreal. Needless to say, we didn't want to leave.

Ten stars is not enough, it was a perfect experience! - Wonderfully modernized hotel. - Top quality staff. - Very nice restaurant. Because it's in a camp, you can take sunrise tours and night tours, I would recommend staying more than 2 days. Another big advantage was the ability to make reservations through Booking.com, while other accommodations at the camp had to be booked through the official national park website.
