Accommodation in Touwsrivier

My son and I were treated as family by every staff member at Aquila, which is why I extended our stay by one more night. Although we loved everyone, I must say that Sholeen, Peter, and Tim went above and beyond. I have to give my LOVE to Sholeen - such a beautiful soul with an even more incredible smile - always happy to see us and she made my boy feel so loved. We will be back!

This is a little hidden gem if you like to stay in nature. Don’t be fooled about the gravel road etc.. the first part of the reserve is well drivable and after that Hilaire is such a lovely host that takes care of her guests and drives them to the Accomodation. We had one of our best stay during our trip.

The overall experience was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed the game drives, meals, activities, and accommodations. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend Aquila Private Game Reserve!

We liked the tranquility of the accommodation. No sounds other than birds and water running in stream outside. Hillary also went out of her way to help us during our stay.

Absolutely breathtaking views in the most peaceful setting . Beautiful accommodation, very spacious and well equipped to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

I have seen that one guest stated in their review that they actually do not want to promote this facility and I agree. It is such a gem that I want to keep it to myself. There is nothing about Njalo-Njalo that I can complain about. Breakfast was exceptional as well as dinner. They went out of their way to accommodate us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. I will definitely book there again and can recommend it to any person looking for a comfortable overnight stay or a restful holiday.

Fantastic overall experience on our 3 night stay. Well organised. Great accommodation in 'Milky Way' lodge - especially the views and outside shower! Game drives were amazing! Star gazing was cool. Options to horseride and quad bike were fab! Make sure you take a trip across the road to Aquila Rescue Centre (ARC) to understand more about the reserve (signposted as Eco Tour on reception desk). Spectacular drive from Cape Town through the mountains (2 hours).

The safari tour was very nice. The room accommodations were very nice and spacious.

we had the Zebra Cottage of the accommodation options of the reserve and it was fantastic. Beautiful views, remote, we enjoyed every minute of our stay! we had a drive on the reserve and saw a lot of animals.
