The room was very comfortable, it wasn't ensuite, and the bathroom facilities were very good. Our evening meal in the restaurant was so tasty (we selected an Austrian dish). Plus homemade Strudel! Breakfast again excellent. Hospitality from the owners was great also.

The location is close to Vandans ski lift with a hotel shuttle bus if you don't feel like walking. Superb food in the restaurant.

The whole property was fabulous; also the sauna department and the surroundings. Lovely views and quiet location. David, the owner could not have been more helpful and friendly. It didn’t matter to us but the apartments were up a little hill. The bus stopped in the centre of St Gallenkirch, so we had a quick walk down in the morning and a tad slower walk up in the afternoon. It felt less and less of a climb towards the end of the week. David offered a lift down in the morning and up in the afternoon so that was always an option. He also kindly helped us with the luggage when we arrived and departed. The location really wasn’t a problem for anyone able to walk.

The food at the hotel is absolutely delicious, I'm a chef and I have to say that everything was wonderful.

Situated just 18 km from GC Brand, Montahaus Retro Apartments features accommodation in Vandans with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. The views from our room and the kitchen and patio were incredible! The room was very spacious, large bed, separate seating area and the whole place was impeccably clean. We have been travelling for over 2 months staying in accommodation every 1-2 days and I can say this is in my top 2 places to stay. Absolutely loved it.
