A bigger free parking place is just 200m behind the corner with signs to display who should park where (some old BMW car parked on our parking space ignoring the sign, but fortunately, the parking place was not full and there were another unoccupied spaces to park a car).

This was perfect - two bedrooms, Danube view, floor heating, all sparkling new, and very cheap.

This recently renovated apartment is located 15 km from Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand Museum and 30 km from Dürnstein Castle. The property is non-smoking and is located 42 km from Herzogenburg Monastery. Nice location in the city centre thus a bit noisy but no issue. We arrived on bicycles and could keep them locked inside the porch. The appartment surprised us by it's space and comfort. I would absolutely recommend this one!

Krems is the best town in the area for exploring the Wachau. Matthias is the nicest and most attentive host with great tips. Also, the apartment was very cool in the middle of a heatwave.
