The kitchen is very well equipped if you feel like cooking and they even had excellent wine glases to enjoy a great" SALUD" The host Ximena which welcomed us when we arrived made us feel very comfortable and gave us many good tips about the Island ,Gracias Ximena.. Also Andrea who was the person that I was in contact before we arrive was very helpful and it inspired me to choose this wonderful place. This was a family trip for me my 3 sisters and my mother and we all felt the warmth of everybody that works there and most important they treat my mother Gloria like a Queen. Muchisimas Gracias.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Cabañas Kitai is situated in Hanga Roa, 600 metres from Pea and 19 km from Ahu Tongariki. This holiday home features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The holiday home has family rooms. I visited Rapa Nui for two nights in December 2024 and Kitai Cabanas was really the best place to stay and made my short trip wonderful. The hosts are lovely persons and make the guests to feel welcome. Even before arrival communication was great and all questions have been answered quickly. Pick up at the airport was included and drop off at departure as well. The cottage is spacious, clean and a fully eqipped kitchen (which I did not use though, as Kitai Cabanas is next to many good restaurants). Water dispender is in the room, which was convinient. Room, bath and kitchen have been clean and I had a nice terrace with garden view. There are many lovely cats arround. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. I booked also an island tour with the hosts and Kevin is an excellent guide. Very knowlegable about the history and culture of Rapa Nui.

The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Excellent accommodation with a little kitchenette just a 15 min walk from the Main Street. Lucy and her husband were very sweet and kind hosts. Organised drinking water, picked us up and dropped off at airport for no charge. Met is with flower garlands and gave us a very thoughtful departure gift. Would recommend to anyone coming to the Island. Very special stay!

Good information given about the island and places to go. The room was spacious and comfortable and well equipped, and breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Perfectly situated in the town for walking around, going to shops, cafés, markets, etc. A wonderful place to stay. We had zero issues or complaints - it was perfect!
