Hostal América is located 400m away from the bus station and 200m away from the Bernardo O’higgins square. Near the hostel, you can find shopping centers travel agents, handicraft stores, restaurants, etc. Everything is perfect. The bed is very comfortable, shower is good! breakfast has a good selection. There are the family’s incredibly friendly cat and dog.

The only problem is that the walls between the flats are thin. Hard not to hear the fellow neighbors…

Couldn’t have been happier staying here to relax after hiking in Torres del Paine. The staff were lovely and so helpful, the place is spotless, the bed was super comfortable and everything worked perfectly. Also much quieter than other hostels at night. Highly recommend!
