For Muslim travelers, rest assured that Halal or dietary preferences are well taken care of. The hosts are very understanding and will ensure your breakfasts are prepared to your liking. We stayed here in December, and as someone from a tropical country, I found it super cold! Thankfully, the rooms are well-equipped with heaters to keep you cozy. The heated toilet seat, hot shower, and hot bath were absolute lifesavers after a day out in the chilly weather. They really think of everything when it comes to amenities. They provided essentials like a hair dryer, comb, toothpaste, toothbrush, robes, and towels, so you don’t have to worry about packing these items. The room was cleaned daily, and they even brought drinking water to our room every day. The property also has two adorable (and very large!) dogs. They are incredibly calm and quiet, so there’s no need to worry about them being jumpy or loud—they’re a delight to have around. Mandy went above and beyond to make our trip stress-free. She helped us order food to be delivered to our room, booked taxis for us, and even arranged tickets to watch the Lijiang Impression Show. The location is unbeatable, right in Lijiang's Old Town. We strolled around every afternoon/evening, exploring the charming shops and soaking in the sights. Plus, there’s a Halal restaurant just 300–400 meters away, which is very convenient. The trip to Lijiang was truly wonderful and left a deep impression. From the breathtaking scenery to the delicious food and comfortable accommodation, every aspect was a joy. The owner was extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms were spotless and the beds were so comfortable that I slept soundly every night. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable trip to Lijiang.

The hotel was located in Old Town Lijiang, which was a convenient location to visit delicious restaurants and find local souvenirs. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. Our hosts were kind and friendly, and more than happy to make local recommendations of places to visit.

Located within 700 metres of Loyalty Arch and 700 metres of Mufu Palace, 夕露古城中心店 XILU INN NANXI - Ancient City Center Branch provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Lijiang. This recently renovated homestay is located less than 1 km from Guangbi Tower and a 4-minute walk from Baisui Bridge. Every room comes with a patio with views of the garden. Host was super friendly and helpful. Right in the middle of the old town, we got help to bring our luggage from the main road. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Bonus on the free upgrade and the lovely dog Liuliu! Highly recommend.

The owner speaks very good English and communicates easily through both WeChat and WhatsApp. He was always ready to help with anything we needed and provided us with useful information. The guesthouse is located in a quiet area right in the heart of Lijiang’s ancient city. The rooms are spacious and clean, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the price is very reasonable. Since vehicles are not allowed inside the old city, someone kindly waited for us at the entrance and carried our luggage. At the end of our stay, as the room was not booked, the owner even allowed us a late checkout at no extra charge. We highly recommend this guesthouse!

The cleanliness of the room and location was perfect. The staff (ie Jing Jing) went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They also helped organize our day trips. The A/C is strong relative to most places we have stayed at in China.

Attractively set in the Guandu district, this hotel offers a spa and wellness centre. The accommodation features free shuttle service and room service for guests. Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.
