Good location quiet and only a few minutes walking to wherever things are happening. Just in case it has good air conditioning.

The apartment provides lake views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available. I feel very lucky to make decision on staying in Charlie’s hostel for 4 nights. Charlie is a very nice person. I feel he is truly nature lover and he has strong knowledge of everything in the forests. The room is very clean and the mosquito net makes me feel safe. Relaxing in the hammock after the day trip in afternoon and falling asleep in the surround nature sound at night. Charlie takes care all activities, I don’t need to worry anything but always have surprise about Amazon. I highly recommend staying in his place and join his day tours! I will miss his lovely family!!

Casa amazilia is a recently renovated guest house in Leticia, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, open-air bath and garden. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. It was such a perfect one night stay and the most comfortable sleep we had in more than 10 days in the Amazon. The breakfast was great and the hosts were so friendly and helpful! We hope to return!

Cabañas alto del aguila in Puerto Nariño features 2-star accommodation with a garden. The hotel has family rooms.

Rooms are complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower, while certain rooms at the hotel also offer a terrace. I stayed for 3 nights and it was great to get away from a city and into nature. You are surrounded by lush vegetation, lots of monkeys and a couple of beautiful parrots. I took their kayak for a paddle into the lagoon where I saw some dolphins cresting the surface and more monkeys along the shoreline. Did not do any tours because I have some booked in Iquitos. But after talking to a couple of guests, they said their tours were really good. The hosts were very friendly and kind. I had a back cabana which was very quiet while you listened to the sounds of the jungle. I had a surprise visitor one morning when Lulu came to say Hola. Highly recommend this place.

I loved my time here. The facilities were excellent, the host was super nice and helpful, and we spend a lot of time watching the view of the river from the terrace.

An American breakfast is available at the guest house. At the property, there is an on-site family-friendly restaurant serving dinner and a selection of vegetarian options. We had a very good time here. We are Canadian so we only stayed two nights because we are not accustomed to the heat (no A/C) but other than that we would have enjoyed doing more of the activities. We enjoyed the dolphins and a walk in town. The people in the community were friendly and welcoming and there is a little museum which is very interesting to get a sense of the community. At the hotel Elizabetta and her colleagues took good care of us when we needed something. We borrowed binoculars, and they ran to the store for us once when we asked for a soda (turns out they don’t carry that, just water). It’s an ecolodge, so if you don’t come expecting a 5 star hotel, and you can be a gracious guest in a native community, you will enjoy. Speaking a little Spanish will really helped us.
