San Bosco Inn ligt in het stadje La Fortuna en biedt een buitenzwembad, een weelderige tuin, gratis WiFi in de openbare ruimtes en kamers met uitzicht op de tuin. The location is fantastic in town . Off busy street but close to center. The free buffet breakfast was great and although the same every day it offered many choices. Room was comfortable & clean. Great hot water pressure in shower.There is a roof top viewing area where you get a great view of Arenal Volcano. Great helpful friendly staff! It was an added bonus to get into Volcano Hot Springs! It’s a 15min drive from town.

Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal, gelegen in de buitenwijken van Fortuna, biedt een buitenzwembad en een hot tub. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. Would happily return and recommend to anyone looking for an oasis on the outskirts of the town. The gardens were beautifully maintained and we saw parrots, hummingbirds and loads of other birds each day.

Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails wordt omgeven door 348 hectare eigen tropisch regenwoud. What a beautiful place. The views are superb to the lake and the volcano. The trails are amazing with a wonderful range of wildlife, and the number of different brightly coloured birds we could watch from the deck really was spectacular. Shame we only had one night there but the staff were happy for us to stay as long as we wanted (we left at about 5pm) on the day that we left.

Dit tropische hotel ligt naast de Arenal-vulkaan van Costa Rica, op 6 km van La Fortuna. Amazing. The property is beautiful and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The grounds are well taken care of and create a truly relaxing environment. The food was simply outstanding – both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. Breakfasts were fresh, varied, and full of flavor, while the dinners felt like a real culinary experience. Everything was prepared with care and tasted far better than in many other hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s a wonderful place not only to stay but also to enjoy authentic, high-quality local cuisine. Highly recommended!

The Nomad Hostel bevindt zich in Alajuela, op 7 minuten lopen van stadion Alejandro Morera Soto en 8,6 km van Parque Viva. The owners are very welcoming and helpful to tourists, gave us tons of recommendations and we're super nice and quick to answer. The place has a cool young design with high ceilings and many plants. The rooms were clean with washed bedsheets. The hostel is surrounded by many local food places and stores.
