Only thing I might yeild if you do stay there is the town that is walkable did not seem very tourist friendly

The only thing I want to say is "excellent" in everything you could possibly wish. We felt like in tropical heaven.

Beautiful setting, horiculturally interesting, and part of an important wildlife corridor. We saw so many different birds and animals. The highlight was our birding tour with Hugo, who is very knowledgeable about the area. We also loved sitting in the main lodge watching birds gather around the small pond. The food was fabulous, much of it locally sourced. We especially loved the fresh squeezed juice at every meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

You can be sure that you will see scarlet macaws there, flying around and coming to feed near the restaurant (usually between 4-5 pm). It’s a bird paradise. The pool was also great, clean and you can see the sunset while soaking in the water.
