Every morning, a freshly prepared breakfast by Restaurant Isabel was delivered directly to my room—sweet and savory pastries, fruit, and juice—luxurious in its simplicity. My hosts, Léa and João, were absolutely wonderful. They welcomed me warmly from the moment I arrived, with genuine kindness and a sense of caring that made me feel instantly at ease. João is a guide, ask him for hikings! I also want to highlight the friendliness of every person I met in the area—they were open, warm, and made this journey feel safe and connected. At night, I would gaze up at the stars from my cozy funco—the sky, completely free of light pollution, felt like a universe unfolding just for me.

The place is very well set up and the owners are kind and helpful people. It's a family operation with lots of experience in hospitality. The rooms are clean and functional. The meals were nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

Reasonable price, clean room and very welcoming and helpful host Rose. Basic but decent breakfast (I ask it to serve at 6am before the hiking Fogo, and it was there exactly at time). The wifi is available outside the house, 20 metres in front of the hotel, close to the restaurant

I was upgraded to the nicest room they have - it was very spacious and with breathtaking view over the sea and Brava island. Very pleasant staff, tasty breakfast and swimming pool. All of it for a decent price. Totally recommended!

During the trip he learned us a little bite Kreol and told us something about Fogo. I liked the accomodation very much, it was clean and confortable. The owner cooked also excellent. So thank you! Situated in Portela in the Fogo region, Casa Adriano & Filomena has a balcony and mountain views. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. The bed and breakfast features a sauna and a 24-hour front desk. Adriano and Filomena welcomed our group of 4 people in their house. The place was perfect for us: great location, wonderfull view on the caldeira and on the volcano, quality of the staff, size of the room, good food made by them. They have done everything to feel at home. Take time to discuss with Adriano, he has many stories to tell you about the caldeira and about Fogo.
