It felt very homely and Františkovy Lázně offers a great base to explore the surrounding area. Check in was easy, we were provided with all the information needed and having access to a washing machine was an added bonus. Our favourite part, however, was our own little balcony and terrace for guests on the first floor, which even had a little play area for children.

At the hotel, each room includes a desk and a flat-screen TV. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. All units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. It is a very appealing place in a newly renovated chateau dating from the nineteenth century with art deco features which are very nice. The reconstruction has been done with a good taste. The room was spacious, nicely furnished, equipped with coffee and tea facility. There were two glass bottles of water, very good quality cosmetics (Botanica trade mark) and it was warm and spotless clean. The self check in was with no problem, we had a parking place just next to the hotel, placed in garden, with lovely terrace, which must be gorgeous in summer time. Only after arriving we have realised that the breakfast is served from 8a.m. and we had to leave at 8:15. We contacted the staff which in no time offered to prepare the meal a bit earlier. We very much appreciated this gesture of concern. Definitely a place to visit again.

We look forward to staying at Charlie again if we visit Cheb.
