Dit hotel is rustig gelegen aan de voet van de Obersalzberg en op slechts 3 minuten rijden van het centrum van Berchtesgaden. Everything was great, from the check in onwards. Miss Božica was super kind and professional. The waiter was also extremely courteous. The view from the room was beyond perfect. The hotel has really good calming energy, you will feel like at home.

Dit 4-sterrenhotel wordt door een familie beheerd en ligt in het centrum van Bad Reichenhall. Het AVALON Hotel Bad Reichenhall biedt een bar, kamers met airconditioning en gratis breedband-WiFi. This was my second stay at this hotel. The first stay was in October 2024. As usual, the staff was stellar. Every request and inquiry was acted upon with a cheerful smile and prompt efficiency. They delivered 100% especially when I needed it the most. The hotel is situated across the street from the Bad Reichenhall Bahnhof (train station). No worries since the hotel has excellent soundproofing. The public areas along with the room itself were immaculate. The bathroom had all the expected amenities including hair dryer, soaps and a towel warmer. The A/C runs well and can be adjusted. There is an Aldi supermarket and a store specializing in health products and cosmetics nearby. An Italian pizza restaurant is across the street (order the spinach and salmon pizza), and a Bavarian restaurant is a few blocks away. The Avalon is a family-owned and run business so you get that special attention you can’t get at a chain hotel. I highly recommend this property.
