My foot hurts and I would like to stay one more night, but their is full. Therefore, the host and the hostess help to find another place for me and desire to drive me to that albergue. (I’m waiting in this hostel now and full of gratefulness.

We have used this hotel sevreral times as it is ideally placed for a final night before catching the Santander ferry. It is a former monastery and seems to have been refurbished almost without thought to expense: outstanding facilities and spacious rooms and bathrooms: nothing but the best fittings and tasteful decor. If you have time, it is worth taking the guided tour of the monastery and church which is otherwise off limits. Breakfast good and setting lovely - very historical.

Our room was perfect with a balcony . We were able to leave the door open to the outside and so cool our room down . There is food available too on site that also does the job when doing the Camino

ACienLeguas heeft een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Castrojeriz. Very spacious room. Bags were carried to our room. Nothing was a bother, and having such excellent English was a bonus for this non Spanish speaker. Excellent for anyone walking the Camino. Very highly recommended

Igloos are really, really special - especially if you want to treat yourself after a few long days of walking. It is so obvious with how much care everything was chosen and curated, bed was super comfy, everything worked perfectly, and the basket left for breakfast was something we super appreciated as it allowed for a slower morning than usual. We were particularly blown away by hospitality of Iker and Jana, and by an actually incredible Menu del Dia that we enjoyed in the restaurant.

Everything was great. The owner greeted us, provided a parking space in advance, and showed us the apartment. The apartment is very comfortable. It has everything you need. We vacationed in the middle of the week. We slept with the windows open. There was no noise.
