Really really really nice host. I visited 1 night before I went to the Banggai Islands, but I came back for a couple days more after them. There is a seating area inside as well as outside in the shadow and the bed is quite comfortable. There are 2 bathrooms: 1 with a warm shower and 1 with a cold shower, but both bathrooms have a ‘western’ toilet, expect for the flushing. They really make sure you have a nice stay and I really do recommend. The price/quality valua is really really great.

We had a nice stay in the renovated/new resort in Una Una. The hosts are friendly and passionate divemasters. The food is fresh and delicious. All the staff members are very kind and made us feel at home. The diving just in front of the resort is great. Also recommended is the adventure to the very active crater of the volcano.

We had a wonderful stay at NATA Homestay! You live with a lovely young family and experience the authentic lifestyle of a small Banggai village. The room is simple but has everything you need (mosquito net, fan), and the family goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. Delicious home-cooked food, laundry service, boat trips to beautiful beaches (with fresh coconuts and fishing!), and small scooter trips made our time very special. Perfect for anyone who wants to escape mass tourism and truly connect with local life. Highly recommended!

Neny was the best host ever, she helped me discovering her island and accompanied me as I was solo traveller. Her family and her are really welcoming. She is also the best cooker ever. The price may seem high for Indonesia but a part is going to the reforestation of coral reef. Neny is really implicated into the ocean life and even the island life, she cleans the beach every weekend with the kids. It was really nice to spend some days at Kia homestay, the view from the balcony is stunning and her cat Katy is the cutest ! I would love to come back again !
