We booked a stay for 3 nights together with a fully planned 4-day trip trough the komodo national park. Jhojo did a great job and showed us the all the beautys of the national park. We had a provate boat, with our own captain, Firman and his son. We saw a lot of dragons, visited beautiful snorkelling places. Jhojo guided us also to see turtles and lovley corals! We slept at his wifes brothers house and had an amazing all inclusive package of delightful indonesian cuisine. Though you cant find luxus on this island, everybody is so nice and respectful, like the whole village is one big family (together with dragons in the garden). Big thanks to Jhojo ans his Family for this amazing experience, we can absolutely recommend this to everyone. See you next time Jhojo! 🥰

We really appreciated his fair approach and transparency regarding prices :) Jeki speaks good English, and you can easily arrange everything with him on WhatsApp. Don’t hesitate to ask him anything – whether it’s about the life of the Komodo dragons, fascinating facts about the island’s nature, or the everyday life on Komodo. We learned so many fascinating things, and it truly was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation is simple – it’s not a luxury hotel – but it allows you to enjoy the authentic life in a local village. There’s even a small shop where you can buy some essentials. We recommend staying two to three nights to fully soak in the atmosphere. Thank you for the amazing experience – it’s something we will remember for a long time. To anyone wanting to explore Komodo on a deeper level, we highly recommend this place!

The host (jhuna) was incredibly welcoming, very kind and always available to every request or question we had. The place was in perfect condition, very clean and tidy. In the booking food is included which was always delicious. Jhuna was also an incredible guide, always making sure that we had the best time and could enjoy every experience to the fullest.

Komodo Resort is located on Sebayur Island bordering Komodo National Park, an hour’s boat ride from the Komodo Dragon Tour on Rinca Island. Surrounded by the sea, the resort boasts a private beach area and on-site diving and snorkelling opportunities. Everything! The staff in all areas were excellent, the food and drinks were great for a remote island & the bungalow was clean & really comfortable. The diving was great even though it wasn't the best time of year for weather. The dive team are fantastic, boats are good & everything was well organised & safe. We'll be back for sure.

We liked that it was away feom the busy noisy center and easy access with our scooter. The food was lovely. The service was amazing.

Towels and bed linen are featured in the homestay. Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The family who hosted us was very kind and helped arrange a local boat to take us to different beaches and snorkeling spots that were absolutely gorgeous (like manta point and pink beach). The host is a ranger at Komodo National Park and gave us a wonderful tour. It was very special to stay in the Muslim village on the sea and have a glimpse of life there. Everyone was very friendly and warm.

Well-equipped and beautifully decorated, with a garden and pool! This was the best accommodation of our entire trip! Furthermore, the owners are incredibly kind and helpful and communication with them was extremely easy! Highly recommended! It was a perfect stay and i hope i will be able to come back again!

A recently renovated homestay situated in Komodo, near Pink Beach, Dua Putri Komodo Homestay features free WiFi, a terrace and a shared lounge. The accommodation offers luggage storage space and private check-in and check-out for guests. This place is all about the rare privilege of staying on Komodo Island and immersing yourself in local life within a small fishing village. The people are incredibly welcoming, and the children play freely—no screens in sight, just real connection and joy. We ventured beyond the village to trek through the wilderness in search of Komodo dragons—and we weren’t disappointed. We even witnessed a pair mating, which was unforgettable. Our accommodation arranged a private boat for us each day (we stayed four days), allowing us to snorkel, trek, visit turtles and manta rays, explore nearby islands, and experience all the region’s natural highlights at our own pace. Harri, who looked after us on the boat, was fantastic—having spent his whole life in the area, he knew exactly where to go for the best sights and encounters. The food at our homestay was exceptional—fresh fish straight from the local boats every day. Accommodation is basic by Western standards, but comfortable enough—just make sure to bring insect repellent. Also, bring cash if you'd like to enjoy a beer—a large Bintang costs around 75k IDR—and don’t expect shops or amenities; this is a truly remote experience. Jahiding and his wife went above and beyond to make us feel at home. This isn't about five-star luxury or being herded around on crowded tour boats. It’s about embracing a different pace and way of life, and truly experiencing what it’s like to live here. We absolutely loved it.
