Guests can dine in 3 restaurants, enjoy 50 acres of lakes, or exercise in the modern gym. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

The Cabra Castle Hotel was built in 1760 and has high ceilings, grand staircases and historic hallways. Beautiful place to stay and very comfortable

The Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has elegant, individually decorated rooms with stunning countryside views. They feature en suite bathrooms and include flat-screen LCD TVs and free Wi-Fi. Wonderful staff, fab dinner at Maxwell's (salmon en croute was the star!), delicious G&Ts beforehand made from Farnham estate gin, and a very comfortable & quiet room. Wish I'd had time to use the beautiful spa!

I arrived late in the evenings and left early each morning for a horse show, but everything about the stay was convenient and Bridie went out of her way to make sure I was looked after. Helen is a marvelous host and Lacken Millhouse is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast was superb, we can highly recommend staying here.

The mornings were filled with the melodious sound of birds singing, and the peaceful neighborhood ensured a restful night's sleep. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The highlight for our furry friend was the expansive green area where dog could run and play freely.
