Breakfast is plentiful and varied (there is coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, jam... and also fruit, juice and yoghurt for the girls). The landlady is lovely. He lent us access (we arrived late) and everything we needed, and he also informed us of a music festival that was in town that day. Our experience was very good.

The place was very comfortable and spacious. Beautiful neighborhood and really close to Athlone. It was very easy to use the fire stove and they left us a guide with suggestions on what to do, where to eat, etc. We loved it!

All rooms in the accommodation are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a hairdryer. Lovely rooms, liked how there was a seperate room. Loved the teas/coffees and biscuits left for us to enjoy. Breakfast was wonderful. All staff were so friendly and really aimed to please. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend.

The host's husband, who was filling in while she attended to family matters, was very friendly and even gave us a tour of his hurling stick manufacturing and shop. It's a gated yard, so it felt very secure, and the breakfast area had everything you needed for a little snack or a good start to the day!

Additional common space where to cook and cosy rooms where to play and relax. 5 mins drive from the lake. Staff was very welcoming, especially Veronica! The place is immersed in nature but has everything you need. It's a perfect place to spend a couple of days away from the city!
