The apartment felt nothing short of home, and all of us were extremely relaxed there. The apartment was really clean and with really great interiors, which is why it felt like home. The property is also close to the Rock Beach, taking only around 10 minutes by bike. And we could also spend some time with Nikki, the little bundle of cuteness (we were welcomed by her on the first day!), although we couldn't say goodbye to her when we left. Will recommend Ruby Villa to anyone visiting Pondicherry! A great thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable!

The staff are really very nice and helpful and Ramji was really nice and quite an interesting person. Not sure why an earlier guest did not like him. He went out of his way to help us. We met the owner Kakoli briefly. She was warm and friendly and invited us to stay back for Diwali celebration. The room was very clean and comfortable. Being a day before Diwali there were some cracker sounds but that was everywhere. Breakfast was excellent. We loved the in-house pets, Jazzy and the cats. The best feature was the pool. It was such a treat to have this lovely lap pool all to ourselves. The location is very close to the French Quarter (walking distance) but the approach is through some narrow roads which did not bother us. The Parking was very convenient. I will definitely be back for a longer stay.

What truly sets Mel Ville apart is the warmth of the hosts. Having stayed in homestays at other locations, we can confidently say Anup and Mehak are exceptional. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Pondicherry!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace, LA VILLA is located 500 metres from Sri Aurobindo Ashram, 1 km from the popular Goubert Market and 1.5 km from Pondicherry Railway Station. Free WiFi access is available. Amazing food and service. Very cosy and homey, and even a bit trendy/cool vibe. Felt very personal. I travelling alone and it was great for that too.
