Spacious, very clean rooms with fully equipped kitchen and modern decoration. The resort offers spa facilities. The staff was polite and very friendly, especially Nicol.

The hosts are very nice and responsive, the electricity power went down in the morning and in just a second the host was there to fix it. Everything looks new, clean, well furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The shower is amazing, the smell everywhere is really good. Very big place and big rooms. We enjoyed every second, wish that every guesthouse was even half as good as this one.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Hengifoss lodge. It's a dream to stay here. Once entered you're greeted by the warm smell of ember caused by the wood that was used to make this house. The colours and the layout of the room is incredibly cosy. The fireplace keeps the house (almost too) warm, and the window + terrace give an exceptional view over the lake and mountains. The hosts are also amazing and gave us the feeling that we're not only welcome, but also that they really understand why we chose to go to Iceland. We asked for help with our fireplace and the host, Isabelle, came to the rescue. She tried to help us to lit a fire but to no avail. We did however have a really good conversation. However when she left, we were content enough. Yet still she knocked on the door and winked us to come over. She told us enthusiastically that the Northern Lights were dancing and fully visible, we had to come outside! The next morning it was kind of raining, a little bit. But the sun was also shining through the clouds. The husband, Steff, called me when I was standing on the terrace. He said: "There is a rainbow there!" and pointed towards slightly behind the house I was standing in front of. I walked to the side and indeed saw a beautiful rainbow. This might not say much to other people wanting to stay there. But to me it feels like these people have such a connection with Iceland, its beauty and understand that we are there for the same connection, they told us to look at beautiful views which Iceland offers, and we were delighted to follow their guidance. Thank you Isabelle and Steff, for the warm welcome. Whenever we're in Iceland and planning to go near Eggs, we will definitely make use of your beautiful little houses.

Undiraldan - Steinholt, old music school ligt in Seyðisfjörður in de regio Oostelijk IJsland, en heeft een patio en uitzicht op de stad. Nice apartment. Comfortable beds. Best place i stayed in Iceland so far. Owner put in a lot of cares to make this place great. Thank you
