Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). Towels and bed linen are featured in the apartment. The accommodation is non-smoking. This house comes highly recommended. It is located right on the main road, but is well protected by a wall and a pasture with (in our case) two Icelandic horses. The house leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is well thought out, practical, beautiful, and clean. A truly lovely place where you would want to stay longer. Self-check-in makes arrival times very flexible.

Just you enter inside, you would not go out anymore since it is so comfortable. We really appreciated the desk and the chairs for the outdoor where we took a lunch.
