The kind, generous and supportive staff made it feel like visiting friends. They gave great advice about where to go and what to do in Bologna and were eager to help with anything. It was impeccably clean, orderly, and cozy. We even had a fun special vegetarian dinner with wine where the solo travelling guests became friends. The rooms were cozy with big bunk beds with large wood frames and curtains that felt very private. Thr bathrooms with toilet and shower were spacious, clean and beautiful. Having a kitchen with all the spices and cooking equipment you could possibly need was a huge plus. Eating the included breakfast each morning was a great way to meet other travelers. I could not recommend the Dopa Hostel more. This is the best hostel I have ever been to right in the University district and a short walk from anything you could want to see in Bologna. A+ 100%

Savhotel has an à la carte restaurant with a lounge bar and breakfast room where guests can enjoy a varied selection of traditional Bolognese and national dishes, numerous sweet and savory buffet and different drinks in the bar. Great hotel, with great value for what you pay for. It is outside the city center, however it is very quiet at night. The room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good, and at the lounge they serve awesome cocktails. Nearby there is a small shopping center with supermarket and drug store.
