Hotel Sorrento City is located next to Piazza Tasso, the main square in Sorrento. The Circumvesuviana Station is just along the road, where you can take the train to Pompeii and Naples. Coaches leave from here to the picturesque town of Positano. Catch a ferry from the nearby port to the islands of Ischia and Capri. The location is very close to the main square of Sorrento and the old town. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Hotel was very clean and rooms were nitely decorated. Breakfast was tasty and abundant. We enjoyed our stay.

Exceptional service — the best staff we've experienced on any of our travels. They helped us all throughout the holiday and also before via Whatsapp which was very convenient as they were very responsive. The view was amazing - just like in a movie! Although it was away from the city centre, it was well worth it for the beautiful views, and the shuttle service made getting around easy. Cannot recommend it enough!

My stay at The Gio Hotel was amazing. Mr. Gio welcomed us so warmly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel is new, spotless, and super cozy, we had a room with the best view! He also gave us great restaurant recommendations and tips on places to explore. Both he and the cook made sure we had halal options for breakfast, which we truly appreciated. The ladies working there were so sweet and kind to us, and the terrace area was beautiful. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from Piano di Sorrento train station. I’d definitely stay here again if I visit! And a bonus point! The bathroom has a shattafa, which was really hard to find elsewhere!
