We were welcomed by the owner when we arrived who gave us a full background about the hotel. The views, the restoration of the church and all the rooms were gorgeous. We had a free room upgrade to their best room which was so lovely. We ate at the restaurant the evening we stayed and we’re floored by the quality and taste of the tasting menu and wine. After dinner the owner drove us in the golf buggy up to the spa where we had an hour in the jacuzzi under the stars before the owner came to pick us up an hour later at midnight. Would highly recommend staying here!

Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs. Some offer views of the Cathedral. Can't praise enough this hotel. The staff was hospitable, the rooms were clean. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, the breakfast was a great selection and the location of the hotel is prime since it's just adjacent to the Duomo.

Bed comfortable-breakfast wonderful with many different options, Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view from the hotel of Assisi.

Great communication with staff regarding transport to the hotel. Check in was seamless. Room was spacious and well laid out. Breakfast was typical european and fresh. Would recommend.
