Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Wat een fijne plek is dit zeg! De sfeer is heel goed, we hadden een geweldige kamer met mooi uitzicht. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimte kijk je uit op de prachtige tuin. Het ontbijt en diner wat wordt aangeboden is erg gastvrij. Het Miyajima Seaside Hotel ligt op slechts 5 minuten rijden met de gratis pendeldienst van de veerhaven van Miyajima. De accommodatie biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan. Everything. The style of the hotel was awesome. The staff went above and beyond for us as a small family. The food was delicious.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Incredible staff, they were very helpful! The rooms are big, and you even get a Japanese style greeting.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. This was our favorite hotel in Japan! We stayed only one night to get to see the island of Miyajima a bit more, and staying here was such a nice experience. In particular, the dinner at the hotel was so special and delicious! You need to message them to make the reservation some days in advance, but they were always very responsive. The facilities of the hotel were really great: the public baths, the rooftop terrace, the footbath café. Finally, the staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

A 3-minute stroll from Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto boasts an outdoor hot spring bath. It offers luxurious Japanese-style and Western rooms and a free shuttle from Miyajima Pier. The hotel was stunning. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful, as they are everywhere in Japan. Our kaiseki banquet meal and breakfast were an event in themselves and it was great to try so many different dishes, many we would probably never have tried otherwise. Room was spacious and nice mix of traditional Japanese and western styles. The indoor and outdoor baths were also beautiful, a relaxing way to start and end the day. Overall the perfect base for our stay on the island

宮島 町家宿 進龍庵 ligt in Miyajima, op 2,4 km van Tsutsumigaura Beach, 5 minuten lopen van Pagode met vijf verdiepingen en 700 meter van Itsukushima-schrijn, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en gratis... The host was kind and welcoming and the amenities were perfect. The house is beautiful and cozy with a mix of traditional and modern touches. The most comfortable sleep I had during my entire Japan vacation!

Our host, Kousuke, is super nice, and made delicious breakfast. The property has a beautiful small garden in the middle. Bed is very comfortable.

Huge (for Japanese standard), comfortable, great location, Japanese style. Owner responds immediately to any enquires. Just great.

Kinsuikan ligt in Miyajima, op 2,6 km van Tsutsumigaura Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een restaurant. Great location with attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Nice rooftop and a guest lounge one floor below with free drinks and desserts.

Wonderful to stay on the island overnight and experience the woods, torii gates and walks late at night and n the morning. Fantastic breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend booking dinner and breakfast. Gorgeous views. Lots of snacks in the hotel lobby, relaxing places to wait for checkin and out. Walk to everything - food, ferry, temple and gates. Wonderful ambience. Don't just catch the ferry for the day - stay on the island It's unforgettable.
