Yol Guesthouse ヨルゲストハウス is gelegen in Takeo, op 48 km van Historisch Park Yoshinogari, en biedt kamers met airconditioning en een bar. It was a mix of many pleasant experiences. The owners, a young couple with child, were really friendly and always supporting. The room on 2nd floor was tidy and clean. All equipment, bathroom, free coffee and tea were impeccable. The first floor was a stunning, private library and at the entrance they run a cosy caffee with self baken scones and cookies and spirit, if you're keen on in the evening. Local friends and customers gathered there, always a pleasant option to get in contact with locals or having a refreshing chat. The value for money is top notch, so is the atmosphere.

Location is perfect, the hosts are so kind and helpful and the atmosphere at the apartment with a Japanese style- loved it!

Alles op loopafstand. De binnentuin waar we op uitkeken was prachtig. We sliepen er met een baby, dat ging goed. De host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, zelfs toen we wat waren vergeten mee te nemen.

AKARIYA Hostel bevindt zich in Karatsu, op 5 minuten lopen van Strand Nishinohama, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Host was amazing. Offering suggestions of things to do and places to eat. She was very welcome and the facilities were great!

Hotel Imari Aioibashi Bettei is gelegen in Imari, op 28 km van Huis Ten Bosch en 19 km van Porseleinpark van Arita. The view from the room overlooking the river and bridge. Perfect for viewing the festival and fireworks. As a textile lover, I was very happy with the kimono shops in the street.

I booked a room here as I was traveling to Japan to play a Pokemon Go event in Nagasaki. I had a wonderful time in this house and the charming, little town it is in. It’s like staying in a beautiful, ancestral home of a Japanese family. I actually lowered my expectations for a bit because it’s not a hotel, but even then I was surprised by how well-kept, sparkly clean everything is. I shared the house with 3 other guests who are also in Japan to play Pokemon Go, and yet I didn’t see a single strand of hair left in the bathroom, a smidge of stain in the toilet, and I didn’t hear noise at night. It’s family-run and they do everything by themselves. I was coming in from Fukuoka Airport and it took me a while to figure out the trains and the transfers I would take to get to Kashima and arrived late at 8:30PM, it’s way past check in time but even then I had a warm welcome from the owner, Mr Maru. He showed me where the restaurants are, which places to visit, where the nearest 7-eleven is. He even let me in the staff-only area of the kitchen when he noticed that I brought dinner that I needed to reheat from 7-eleven. In the morning I met his older sister in the kitchen and she made me breakfast. She showed me where Yutoku Inari shrine is which I planned to visit on that day. I rented a bicycle at the Hizen-Hama station which is just like 150 meters from the house and biked around Kashima, ate Mikan ice cream, until I reached Yutoku Inari shrine. It is an amazing place. In the evening when I returned the bike at Hizen-Hama station, I went to its Sake bar which serves all the sake this little town produces and I was warmly welcomed even though I don’t speak a word of Nihongo. I tried all the types of sake that they have as I knew I can get smashed and still find my way home because the house is just a stone’s throw away from the station. Overall I had a pretty amazing experience and would gladly visit again.

Villa 石の蔵 Hotel bevindt zich in Saga en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren, en toegang tot een hot tub. De accommodatie heeft een bubbelbad. It's very comfortable here and the space is beautiful. It was a place where everything was perfect. The host is also really friendly.

Karatsu Seaside Hotel biedt accommodatie in Higashi Karatsu. U kunt van een maaltijd genieten in het eigen restaurant. Elke kamer in dit hotel is voorzien van airconditioning en een flatscreen-tv. The onsen pool on the rooftop was awesome. The spa facilities were huge. You need at least 2 days to enjoy all of them. The basic room without onsen was spacious with an ocean view. Breakfast and dinner at the buffet and restaurants were in good variety and quality with local ingredients. Will love to visit again

Keramiek Arita ligt in Arita, op 20 km van Huis Ten Bosch, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Zeer netjes en mooie natuur. Fietsenhuren kan voor 500yen bij de touristinformation aan de overkant. Met de fiets is het 10-15minuutjes fietsen naar het “grote Arita” waar meerdere supermarkten zijn.
