Had washing machine, kitchen stove, microwave etc. Good place to stay. I would definitely choose this place to stay again if visit shirahama again. The counter staff is friendly and polite, able to converse in basic english. Like the tatami bed very much. The blanket so comfy.

A buffet breakfast is available at the accommodation. That was a great hotel and experience - Japanese bath / spa and Finnish sauna were great. Between 8-11am there is hardly anyone, especially during the last hour it was literarlly empty. Breakfast buffet was good with large variety to choose from. And the room with trains view and sitting area next to the windows were very much appreciated by our 5yo. Parking is a bit non-straighforward but quite convenient in the end - best to park in the 3rd level of the Starton parking from which you'd just walk through the terrace / mall to the hotel's elevator. Don't forget to give a parking ticket to the hotel staff for a discount stamp whe parking overnight.

Guests are free to attend Buddhist morning services, the Goma fire ritual and meditation. Staff were super friendly, helpful and kind. They offered lots of services that make touring Koya-san easier, such as a night tour and baggage storage after check-out. All meditation and ceremonies had clear, informative explanations in English and Japanese. Out room was modern and very comfortable, it far exceeded our expectations.
