A buffet, à la carte or continental breakfast is available at the property. We called ahead to advise we would be late for check in, won't bore with details, and Sandra was fantastic. Despite our late timing we were greeted very warmly with hot towels and a welcome drink. Check in was very relaxed. We also received an upgrade which was a treat and the accommodation was beautiful. Food was excellent, staff all very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again if we are back this eay.

The mornings and nights are particularly enchanting, with the sounds of animals and occasional sightings, adding a touch of wilderness to the experience. Its proximity to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, just a 3-minute drive, was incredibly convenient. Additionally, Mr. Magdy was exceptionally helpful in arranging transportation, making everything seamless. The food was absolutely delicious, and I must commend the chefs for their amazing culinary skills. As a chai lover, I couldn’t resist asking for more along with Banana Fritters 😌😌😌. A special shoutout to Mr. Ben, the night guard, whose presence felt safe and well taken care throughout my stay.

Located in Talek, Talek Bush Camp, Masai Mara provides accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. For my needs and expectations, everything was fulfilled, even beyond the measure and initial expectations. The location of the campsite is great, right next to a river full of life (hippo, crocodile, lots of birds and Dik-Dik antelope right in the campsite, ...). The camp staff is just as wonderful as the food offerings. Comfort and equipment in the tent are more than enough for me. The possibility to charge the batteries and even the reach of the wifi signal, which is otherwise only available in the common areas of the camp. The campsite is very close to the Talek entrance gate, so it's really just a short off-road drive to the Masai Mara reserve. No more than 2-3 minutes. Drinking water is available all day and you can take it in your own bottles, even for a day-long game drive expedition. That is a very nice offer. Likewise, the attitude of Mustafa, the owner of the campsite, is very great! I definitely recommend this campsite and I definitely want to come back to it again in the future. However, what could definitely be improved is the stability of the power supply, which is apparently powered by an external generator and has been switching off/dropping quite often. And every morning it turned off very early, despite the fact that it was still dark or dim.

Facing the Talek River, Mara offers elegantly furnished tents on raised platforms, and a terrace with a bar for spotting animals. All rates include 3 game drives a day, and return airstrip transfers.

Mara’s tents include a wooden, 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. All have a modern, private bathroom with a double vanity, shower, and flush toilets. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each. The staff was accomodating and friendly, food was very good and our safari guide, Dominic was the very best guide we have had after several trips to Africa.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. We had an amazing stay at Mara Hilltop – truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

Situated in Ololaimutiek, Alama Camp Mara offers 5-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. A hot tub and a car rental service are available for guests. The hotel also features free WiFi and free private parking. The staff! Faith, she made a special place in our heart. It was our honeymoon and she made everything very special for us, she was so attentive and the best host we had throughout our whole time in Kenya! We would come back SPECIFICALLY because of Faith! Breakfast was great, loads to choose from. The room was very cosy and clean. They do cute touches like put hot water bottles in your bed whilst you're at dinner! There is always someone to walk you up and down the dark path which was a nice addition.
