In the evening, we had tea on Yakaduru rock with that stunning sunset. The night was calm and beautifully lit with soft, dark lighting. We enjoyed an outdoor BBQ by the firelight. The next day, we went on a safari in a Yakaduru jeep with a great guide who provided excellent explanations about the Yala area, Sri Lanka, and its wildlife.

Good Karma Hotel is about 17 km from Mulgirigala Rock Temple. It is about an hour's drive from Mattala Rajapakse International Airport and Yala National Park. Bandaranaike International Airport is a 4-hour, 30-minute drive away. Peaceful place, very nice walk along the beach, candle diner at night at the beach, very nice rooms. Staff is lovely and detailed oriented. Good place if you are looking for a place to sleep and relax with a book.
