Hotel River Front was a little piece of paradise for the 2 nights we stayed here (with my husband and 5 year old). The entire property is immaculately clean - from the gardens to the rooms and bathrooms - it was spotless. Room and bathroom was large, good hot water in shower, good air-conditioning, lovely balcony overlooking garden wirh river at the bottom. Pool was fabulous and great to relax around after a safari. We ate dinner at the hotel on both nights. Food was really delicious and good choice. Breakfast was included in the package and was very good (fresh pancakes, fruit, toast, eggs, sausage, etc...). On the morning of our safari they packaged a breakfast up for us which was appreciated. Hotel organised a private safari for us. Channa was our guide and was brilliant. So knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we had a great day. We saw loads of animals including leopards and the scenery was stunning. A special thanks to all the staff who made our stay so special- they all do a fabulous job and made us so very welcome. If we are back in the area we would definitely stay here again.

All the staff where amazing, the reception, cleaning and bar staff very helpful. The location was quiet and secluded. The food in the hotel was Great...The upoint restaurant across the way was amazing. Sampath the driver from the hotel, was the nicest and most helpful.

Yakaduru is renowned for its architecture and tourism, where guest can stay in properties built by Mud and palm thatched roofing. Yakaduru Yala runs on renewable energy sources, and features free WiFi, on-site parking and a barbecue facility. It was unusual and unbelievable experience. Everything was perfect - staff was very kind, the diner and show were interesting! This place for people who want to try to be closer to nature.

We came here for yala safari. Very good and clean rooms. Staff is excellent. Very close to the city. You can get free bikes anytime. We also had a very delicious meal. We were given a very valuable safari. We saw many animals. We were lucky enough to see a leopard. The driver is very experienced. We can get it from their taxi at a very low and reasonable price. Everything is very reasonable.

Good Karma Hotel is about 17 km from Mulgirigala Rock Temple. It is about an hour's drive from Mattala Rajapakse International Airport and Yala National Park. Bandaranaike International Airport is a 4-hour, 30-minute drive away. The best stay in Sri Lanka! I completely recommend! The staff is amazing, always ready to help and always with a smile! The room is beautiful, very spacious, and with spectacular conditions. We are very grateful for this stay and I want to emphasize Dilanka's impeccable treatment, who also organized a beautiful beach dinner for us!

The hotel provides an indoor pool and a 24-hour front desk. We had such a beautiful stay at My Resort Yala. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and cared for - the staff really want to make sure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This is evident in the facilities - air con, good fans, filtered water in the room, mosquito nets (even though there weren’t many mosquitos), a fridge, a hair dryer, adapters to suit every country’s appliances. My favourite - bicycles. This allowed us to ride around town - a thoroughly enjoyable way to see the place. We did an afternoon safari and managed to see a sloth bear! Along with so many other animals - many elephants, crocodiles, deer, bird species, mongoose, jackals, goannas (probably forgetting a lot here). The leopard eluded us. My husband and I have been on safari in Africa so we thought maybe we’d be underwhelmed - but it was awesome. The pool was great for my kids. The temperature was just right. Breakfast was tasty and very generous, and the place has such a peaceful outlook over the rice fields. All of this for such good value. Thank you to all the staff for making this such a lovely stay.
