Boasting a private beach area and a restaurant, Summer Island Maldives is located in North Male' Atoll. The property features an infinity pool, as well as a 24-hour fitness centre. Guests can enjoy sea views. Free WiFi access is available. Absolutely stunning location and close enough to Male to access more easily than many other resorts. The buffet breakfast and dinner (we did half board) were delicious and varied. The free snorkelling trip each day was awesome, but ultimately the turtle snorkel trip offered by the dive centre (paid) was way better with healthier reefs, unbelievable numbers of fish and many other incredible marine life (we saw rays, sharks, and turtles). Snorkelling around the island itself was also beautiful and the waters are shallow throughout making it easy and safe for children and less confident swimmers to enjoy. Sitting on the beach at the Nevi bar, enjoying the breeze and the sound of the waves was pure bliss. The room and view were beautiful and the outdoor shower (private) was cool. Staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help make your holiday special! We travelled during the "rain season" (July) but had gorgeous weather the entire stay!

The resort has two fresh water swimming pools on the beach and children's playground, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Everything was exceptional. Our room was prepared every evening for 'wind down', the staff were all very friendly. Meals at the buffet restaurant and ala carte restaurants were beyond expectations. The all-inclusive package was very worth it, although there's only so much we could eat! I love the quietness and exclusivity of the 700+ over-water villas, and we witnessed the most gorgeous sunsets and sunrise at the resort. I'm so glad I chose the Meeru resort for my first-trip to Maldives!

We had an unforgettable time at Sun Siyam Olhuveli Maldives. Everything was top-notch — from the service to the location. We stayed in a water villa, and it was pure paradise! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Having the ability to step directly into the water from our villa added a unique charm to our stay. The endless ocean views were mesmerizing. A special thanks to Mahmud, who cleaned our room twice a day. His attentiveness, attention to detail, and kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. One magical and unforgettable moment happened during our stay. All Maldivians were so kind and friendly to our daughter, but one episode stood out as extraordinary. Our daughter accidentally dropped her book into the ocean and was heartbroken. She was crying when Ameem approached us and asked what had happened. After learning about the book, he gave her a small pendant as a gift to cheer her up. But what happened next truly felt like a fairytale. When we returned to our room about two hours later, we found a note on the bed along with two gifts for our daughter, Eva — and her book, which he had retrieved from the ocean. It was dried, cleaned, and placed carefully for her to find. This act of kindness and care left us absolutely speechless. The activities offered by the hotel were also impressive. The program included a variety of engaging options, from snorkeling to incredible excursions that allowed us to fully experience the beauty of the Maldives. Every tour was well-organized and left us with unforgettable memories. The hotel staff deserves special praise: everyone was very friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. We enjoyed relaxing on the white sandy beaches, the cozy atmosphere of our villa, and the opportunity to discover so much through the excursions. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway and complete relaxation.

Beautiful resort on paradise island (literally!). We stayed in a water villa and it was absolutely incredible. Everywhere you look is pure paradise. The facilities are amazing, the food is delicious, and the staff are incredible! Aman, Dewli, and Naleen at the Lagoon restaurant were amazing and ensured we were well looked after each mealtime. Ajlan was our wonderful host and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay.The staff at the Italian restaurant were also lovely and always had the biggest smile on their faces! This was my second time at the resort and it was just as good as the first time (maybe even better!). I hope to return again soon!

Professional staff, excellent service, great amenities ! The best place to stay on local Maldives islands. It’s obvious the hotel owners invested wholeheartedly - they organized transfer pickup to and from Male in a quality smooth speedboat (which made a huge difference compared to other local speedboats). Hotel restaurant was best value and quality food compared to other restaurants in the island. We ordered food multiple times directly to our room. Staff were really friendly and attentive - many thanks to onu and zhidan.
