Naute National Park is 45 km from the accommodation. Amazing service, attention to detail, food, decoration, rooms, simply and amazing stay and experience. They even went above and beyond to provide us with a meat we really wanted to try in the breakfast. Highly recommended place 😊

Canyon Roadhouse Campsite features camping accommodation in the Karas region, near the Fish River Canyon.

Campers are welcome to make use of the main lodge’s restaurant, bar, swimming pool and activities.

Each campsite is set next to a dry riverbed and has a barbecue and shared ablution facilities. I felt in love with this campsite the first time I saw! I camped but, if you want, they have also room, a little shop, a bar and the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every tent station has also a barbecue and big space around. If you want to visit Fish River Canyon this is the place to stop for the night.

The dinner is very delicious and they were really big portions, perfect for hungry wanderers, a little too much for people who had lunch 😉 if you don’t eat meat, I’d recommend to tell a view days before. The room was very clean and also had everything. Can highly recommend namgate guesthouse 🫶
