Guests can access the campground via private entrance. Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

Just a few steps above the house lays a natural pool within the rocks offering even more breathtaking views, hard to decide where to stay... cannot recommend enough

The staff are very friendly, the food is good quality, and there is an excellent selection of wines.

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. One night in a beautiful lodge, room was the best one we had on our 2 week holiday in Namibia. Would love to have stayed more than one night, but was cost prohibitive.

Some units feature a seating area and/or a patio. First stop on our drive around Namibia, and this has set the bar high. Not many guests staying as low season, but that suited us perfectly. All the staff were lovely, a particular mention to Ferdinand, who was the main point of contact for anything we had questions about and he was not alone in the willingness of the staff to make our stay memorable, 5* service from all. I also had one of the best massages ever, given by Dena, in the Outpost Lodge (part of the same group) a short drive away. The views are amazing and with a small waterhole close to the Lodge it was a pleasure to see frequent visits by Oryx & Wildebeest. Can highly recommend staying here.

Each of the free-standing, thatch-roof chalets at We Kebi have a private pavilion and an en suite bathroom with a a bath and/or a shower. Hot water is provided by eco-friendly solar heating. Beautiful, peaceful location with interactions with animals just coming by the lodge.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park.

Overlooking the plains, the spacious and rustic-style chalets have a fixed structure with canvas partitions. Each is equipped with a small patio, a shower, a fan, linen and towels. We really enjoyed our stay at this small family-run business. The brothers Kai and Sven as well as the rest of the staff work really hard to make this place a lovely experience for all guests. We were upgraded to a lodge room as the adventure camp tends to not be occupied during winter time. The food was incredibly good, we had 3 to 4-course meals every evening and a delicious breakfast with lots of options. The barbecue dinner outside was our favorite. We also did the Sossusvlei tour with Sven and highly recommend it, as well as the sundowner tour where we saw zebras, ostriches, jackals, oryx, warthogs and more. There are hikes you can do around the large property and waterholes where you can look out for some animals. At night, you get to see the milky way and stars as bright as day. It's enjoyably quiet and the attention we received from Kai and Sven and their colleagues is hard to come by in other places! We'd definitely stay here again :)
