Sheets of very high quality, interior details, with all kind of small personal details. Our dog Charlie loved both the place and the host, and did not want to leave... We did not expect a lot, but this stop over was worth a trip by itself. Good breakfast with fresh bread, butter, cheese, juice, coffee, fruit and croissants! Served in a cosy little room at the cottage. A nice little garden in the backyard, and a small ateljé for children in a separate building.

At the bed and breakfast, all units are fitted with a wardrobe. Some of the units feature a cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathrobes. At the bed and breakfast, the units come with bed linen and towels. A beautiful converted dairy in a small village , next to a working windmill, what’s not to like ,😀 there is a pub/restaurant and a small take a way food shop. There is also a world class equestrian site . We opted to have breakfast there wasn’t a choice but we had fresh fruit with yogurt ,bolied egg with a section of cheese and meat and assorted bread and pastries all served with a choice of tea or coffees . The B&B de oude melkfabriek were extremely accommodating as we made a short notice booking with them as the B n B we had previously booked which was on our tour route unfortunately became flooded and they had to cancel our stay . This B&B is also a short drive or a long walk to Achel Monastery where there is a shop and restaurant. Although you will find a lot of places are closed on a Monday .
