It's just a couple of minutes walk from the busy and noisy old town, but in a beautifully quiet neighbourhood. Plenty of secure parking is available if you ask. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including a kettle and tea/coffee (a rarity in Romanian hotels), with a big and comfortable bed, lovely shower and bathroom. Breakfast was extensive - so much to choose from, so there was something for everyone. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and when we asked about the history of the building, the man on reception gave us a little tour and told us all about it. What a fascinating building.

We participated to a conference in Bucharest and needed accommodation near Sheraton hotel, where we stayed a year before and didn’t enjoy it that much. The area was quiet, near UI path quarters also (for corporate fellows), very close to Piața Romana and to the main Bucharest attractions. The building was nice, we had a room with balcony, the room was warm, clean, nice soapy smell and the bed was comfy. It was quite quiet, which we liked, we had a good sleep, the 3 hosts we interacted with were professional, breakfast was quite fresh, although not that varied. It was perfect for what we needed.
