These have been the warmest, clearest, and most spectacular beaches we've ever been in. The hotel meals are amazing, including lots of fresh local fruits and italian-swahili inspired dishes at dinner. The owner Luca will take excellent care of you and the staff is also very kind and attentive.

Pemba Lodge is an eco-friendly resort offering bungalows made out of recycled boats and natural local materials. Each one is has a secluded location in the large garden and has direct access to the beach. Location is simply stunning - and beautifully quiet. Nature at its very best. The lodges were very simple and perfect for the location. We were supremely well looked after by Adam and his team. The food was all local, fresh and beautifully cooked. Pemba Lodge really is one of a kind if you are looking for a simple, natural getaway. A truly amazing place!

The food was also excellent, with delicious fresh fish dishes. We also dived with Pemba dive centre who are on site and can very highly recommend them.
