It is a small place decorated with taste, even the rooms, lots of local things around remind you where you are. The breakfast is incredible as they change every day so it doesn’t get boring ;-). The tables in wood are like local boats. What a great idea !!! The guest are really international and it’s easy to get in touch with other people. They have a dog and a cat but very brave and discreet. It’s very close to the beach, restaurants etc The staff is also top and they always smile. There’s no need to look for another place if you come to Nungwi: Babalao is where you should stay.

The vibe here is torally different and I really hope I will come back here again. Location is perfect, on the beach. There is kite-surf club, beach bar/ restaurant and many of them are around. Pool is clean and from 11:30 til 4:30 there is nobody, so I felt like all is just for me. And is very safe for solo travellers. I really enjoyed in this place.

The staff are extremely nice, they will insist to help you in every step, they wouldn’t even allow us to carry our small bags ourselves, they do. The owner is extremely nice he offered us a nice party with some friendly locals inside the hotel. The rooms and equipments are in perfect condition. I would not think twice if i come back to nungwi again. This is the most perfect place to stay at

Yoga classes and fitness classes are arranged at the fitness room in house. You can play table tennis and tennis at the accommodation, and bike hire is available. The Nest Tropical Oasis Resort has a children's playground and a picnic area. I thought vegetarian food would be boring but the eggplant curry changed my mind. staff explained the dishes really nicely too.
