Acadia Inn ligt op 1,5 km van het Nationaal park Acadia en beschikt over een eigen pad dat naar het park leidt. Ruime kamer met heerlijke bedden. Badkamer geheel vernieuwd en top. Lekker zwembad en hot tub. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en super verzorgd. Zoveel mogelijk van het bestek en de bekers en de borden zijn composteerbaar. Goed voorbeeld voor veel andere hotels! Oog voor detail. Zo was er een filmavond voor kleine kinderen waarbij ook verse popcorn werd aangeboden.

The Pathmaker Hotel is gelegen in Bar Harbor, op 8 minuten lopen van Town Beach en 700 meter van Agamont Park, en biedt accommodatie met een bar en gratis privéparkeren. Room is spacious and the breakfast is great.

Bass Cottage & Ullikana bevindt zich in Bar Harbor, op 4 minuten lopen van Town Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Lucky to find this one on arrival in Bar Harbor in peak leaf peeping season. If you like history, this place is for you. Two town houses beautifully converted into bed and breakfast accommodation with historic furniture and hiding away just behind the main street. Staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, especially Marina (all the way from Serbia) and Walker. Breakfasts are cooked to order - very nice and original but not contemporary US breakfasts. Forget the brick, glass and concrete hotels and come and stay here. Highly recommended.

We thought of this booking more like an Airbnb, rent a room style. We are not really familar with the Bed & Breakfast concept shown here. But it was a very pleasant surprise. The owner live in the building and renting out two nice rooms in the main Building and one room in a little house in the backyard. They where very nice people with great advices for our trip in Bar Harbor and the two dogs where an added bonus. - Everything is very new and nicely furnished and decorated. - Breakfast is homecooked every morning and was exceptional! - Awesome place to also meet other guests and exchange about the vacation planing

We felt like at-home, with homemade breakfast and cookies/pastries in the afternoon. Team was great and welcoming. Room 4 was cozy with a fireplace, we would come back!

The ambiance of a late 1800's inn, the reading room,the room with a working fireplace, the location among the trees, within walking distance from town and great restaurants.

We loved the character of the cottages, the up cycled furniture, the fire pit and games which were available. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable.. It was quiet too at night.

Great location (you can walk to all the shops & restaurants), clean comfortable and cozy. Staff were very lovely and the breakfast was off the scale delicious. Easy parking outside terrific WiFi, nice touch of afternoon tea and sweets whenever you fancied them too. We only booked one night, but extended our stay.
