From the breathtaking views from my bedroom window, to the reliable hot shower, delicious home-cooked food, this homestay deserves the highest of praises. However, Viet, the owner, is the absolute man! He goes above and beyond for his guests in every conceivable way. This morning, he got up early on my behalf to escort me to the trailhead for Sa Mu Peak, and checked up on me when I got caught in a flash flood, alone, 11 kilometers into a 22 kilometer trek. He’s a wealth of knowledge, a pleasure to be around, and takes the time to get to know each and every one of his guests personally. He is a legend!

The shower was good, with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The a/c works great, too.

The hosts are so friendly and made us feel very welcome, like a home away from home. The house itself is beautiful and the surroundings very peaceful. We enjoyed the food at dinner time and also the coffee and breakfast in the morning... Nhung makes delicious pancakes! She also made me ginger and lemongrass tea when I was feeling unwell. We also enjoyed a wonderful trek through the surrounding villages with Dung. Thank you for your hospitality!

Parking on-site is available and the homestay also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. The owners were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I was invited for dinner both nights by the uncle. The uncle and I had long chats. I have never felt so welcomed at any hotel, homestay or any accommodations. Definitely coming back in summer. The uncle even gifted me a warm jacket before my departure because he felt I was under dressed for the weather in Northern VN. Such an amazing experience 10/10

We travelled from Hanoi to Ninh Binh to Phu Luang and Moc Chau on our way to the Land Above the Clouds - Ta Xua. We made the Sunflower our Base while we explored the Moc Chau area for three Days. We hired a Motorcycle & explored Caves, Tea & Fruit Plantations, Theme Parks & Waterfalls. We found an awsome little Bakery & some great food places. There is a big Dairy here and their local Yogurt with Black Rice on top...Do your mouth a favor and enjoy while your here.
