Location is perfect, about 20m to the airport, plus 5-10m for terminal 2. The room itself is small but enough for an overnight stay. The breakfast is quite good, better than other ibis budget hotels we have stayed at, there were pancakes, scrambled eggs, breads, croissants, pain au chocolat, many juices, teas, jams and sweet spreads.

Ibis Styles Charleroi Airport Aero 44 is located in Gosselies, a 10-minute drive from Brussels South Charleroi Airport. Free WiFi is available in the rooms. Really nice hotel, well located for Charleroi airport. They run a shuttle service to the airport which can be booked at reception (it was €25 for 4 of us). The room was spotless, spacious and well equipped. Really quiet, couldn't hear any noise from any other rooms or even from the airport. Friendly staff.

Apartment was very conveniently located near the airport of Charleroi ( in fact it was walking distance and if we knew it we could have saved some money in reducing the time of our car rental by a day as we could have easily walked to there in the morning even with the luggage), it was easy to collect the keys from the box at the door ( just pay attention to the number of the apartment that you rent as there are 2, next to each other, I have read what other people wrote), the owner sent us very detailed instructions. Also it was very spacious, huge living room with an open kitchen on the ground floor and bedrooms with bathroom upstairs. All very clean, bed linen, towels, the temperature inside was fine. No smell as some people wrote, really nothing to complain about regarding hygiene. The neighbourhood is not exactly fancy but quite safe, we parked the car for free in the street and the Italian restaurant nearby is very good ( a family business of some immigrants from Apulia, so no just your usual pasta and pizza)
