Basically we liked everything. Every single detail in the property was adorable. It was super clean and super comfortable. The communication was effective. Simply, it is not possible to find a better place in Venice. If the property is available, go for it, you will never regret.

5 minutes by car from the airport. Clean and tidy apartment.One double bed and a bunk bed in the other room.
We were able to heat the apartment ourselves.

Apartment was very conveniently located near the airport of Charleroi ( in fact it was walking distance and if we knew it we could have saved some money in reducing the time of our car rental by a day as we could have easily walked to there in the morning even with the luggage), it was easy to collect the keys from the box at the door ( just pay attention to the number of the apartment that you rent as there are 2, next to each other, I have read what other people wrote), the owner sent us very detailed instructions. Also it was very spacious, huge living room with an open kitchen on the ground floor and bedrooms with bathroom upstairs. All very clean, bed linen, towels, the temperature inside was fine. No smell as some people wrote, really nothing to complain about regarding hygiene. The neighbourhood is not exactly fancy but quite safe, we parked the car for free in the street and the Italian restaurant nearby is very good ( a family business of some immigrants from Apulia, so no just your usual pasta and pizza)

Nice spacious accommodation in a great location, there was even a few Italian restaurants within walking distance. As close as you’ll get to the airport without actually sleeping in the airport, for anybody looking to book it to use the airport it’s about 25/30 minute walk.
Good facilities as well and nice and clean.
Also for other users if your travelling from Brussels you can get the direct airport bus (Flibco National) from Brussels MIDI station for £17, journey takes about 55 minutes subject to traffic, from the airport to the accommodation definitely 30 minutes.

No taxis at the railway station 'security'.
No taxis at the railway station 'security'. You go online for one and the then meet up under a big advert on the other side of the canal. Difficult to find places to eat. The Charleroi airport 'South Brussels'/Ryanair is famously dreadful. I would never use it again - there is a proper one in Brussels. Fortunately the hotel advised us to get there 3 hours early. Taxis can't reach the front door - 'security'. The time was needed. Inside was scary, like being in a moving unhappy football crowd. We got back, just.

Charlerois not an obvious tourist destination, as it really is a struggling city. But the upper town with the art deco town hall and the main church on an octagonal square has the feel of slightly surrealist film set. One can have a nice stroll through city, exploring its different layers of time and the life of the inhabitants with their very mixed heritage. And if you are inclined to adventures of the everyday, you will enjoy this city.

Room was a nice size, and so was the ensuit bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Was close to the bus stop to get to Charleroi Airport. Easy to get into the main hub of Brussels also.
