Rocio met us when we arrived and helped out in our planning of what to do and see. We would go back just for Rocio. If you are planning to be in Chile Chico, go 5 minutes out of town and stay here. If you are not going to Chile Chico, plan to go and to stay at the Hotel Posada del Rio it is truly great.

We strongly recommend Chile Chico and the very scenic road...
We strongly recommend Chile Chico and the very scenic road between Chile Chico and Puerto Guadal. The road is a bit dangerous, but the scenery is breathtaking. The General Carrera Lake is huge and has scenery with snow capped mountains in the background that one can only dream of, but it is real!
