My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Great location near the airport, very clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and friendly staff. In a previous review I suggested caffeine-free tea in the rooms, and to our delight, this time fruit tea was available! We truly appreciate that the hotel listens to its guests.

Located just 2 miles (4 kilometres) south of the city centre, Bremen Airport is the only international airport in Germany set within ten minutes of a city centre. The best way to access the airport is by taxi, which will cost around EUR 10 each way and take 20 minutes, depending on traffic. You can also reach Bremen Airport from Central Station by tram (line 6), which departs every ten minutes, or bus (line 52), which departs every 30 minutes to/from Kattenturm.

I've been to Bremen plenty of times in the past as there used to be direct flights from Manchester. Now you have to go via Hamburg and then get a few trains. This time I tried KLM's dual flights and, I think I will stick to going via Hamburg in future.
Bremen has an excellent bus/tram service to help you get around and the Wienachtsmarkt is one of the best as there are several sites spread around the town, including the Pirate Market by the river.

We went to the opera, which was really cool and we walked around the old town. There is a funfair there which is annoying because you can see the old architecture and the beautiful square because of carnival rides and corn dog stands ,etc. I suppose it would be ideal if you were traveling with kids. Getting around Bremen was really easy and we walked everywhere.
