Room is much nicer than in pictures, it's very spatious, so is bathroom. Public bus is near, it's free with Echt Bodensee card. Instructions for checkin were very clear

Since the city was completely bombed during WW2, it’s not filled with historical landmarks and old buildings. There are definitely nicer cities around Bodensee. If you’re choosing Bodensee as your final destination, FN shouldn’t be the town to go.

That's the most convenient place to visit Messe over last 6-8 years I am here. Easy to get in and out, walking distance to the train station and the airport, as well as fairground.
I guess it will be good for a small family as well even for 1 week or so.
Would love to come again in 2022

We took a cable car from Bregenz - tip from a local = next time go a little further out of Bregenz - cable car is cheaper and the views are better
We visited Meersburg - lovely and so much character
We took a ferry from Meersburg to Konstanz
When we researched a Zeppelin ride the £800 or so price was just too high - tip from the same local explore visiting the Zepellin airfield and having a coffee or maybe a short tour on board

Nice village situated in the lake.
Nice village situated in the lake. Many shops in the center. nice walking around the lake. Nice castle with the restaurant(renovation works currently on the facade). Nice bakery opposite the ex-monastery (opened early on Saturday). Convenient shopping area at the edge of the village.

Vorort of Friedrichshafen, apartments a short walk from the bus line and local shopping (bakeries, groceries, produce); easy bike ride to downtown Friedrichshafen (Zeppelin museum, ferries, lots of shoreline walks, beaches, etc). The bar on the corner is well known -locally - and smoky.
The area is known for wine and apple production and near the borders of Austria and Switzerland. On the expensive side (especially restaurants) but beautiful.

The location was excellent, the view of the lake from the dining room and pool were fantastic, even on a rainy cloudy day. As children were only allowed to use the indoor pool at certain times , you can relax around the pool and read.
The selection of food at the breakfast buffet was incredible, something for everyone. An additional bonus was that it was open till 11,30 am. They also had quite a large selection of vegetarian dishes in the evening. Very comfortable box spring beds and a large walk-in shower.

We only stayed overnight our last night in Europe. Visited Meersburg Castle, the Stilthouse Museum, and other places in the area. We bought our own food mostly due to dietary restrictions, but enjoyed apfel strudel with whipped cream and gelato near the ferry dock.

This is a key hub on Lake Constanz and the home of the Graf Zeppelin, thus the great museum. It is an excellent place to base a visit to other towns and sites on Lake Constance whether by ferry, train or bus (and we did all three). Best of all it is not overrun by tourists

Small and cozy town located between Lindau and Friedrichshafen. The town has good train connections which is 10 minutes far from the hotel and approximately 30 minutes by train to Friedrichshafen and also Lindau.
The town has nice restautants which require reservation days before and also a historical watch tower from the middle ages.

The apartment is large and spacious and has all the amenities for a couple or a family including games and a football table. It is just 7 minutes from town up a dreamy country road that is ideal for walks and experiencing nature. The hosts are very kind and accommodating and did their best to make us as comfortable and welcome as possible.
