It is our regular stop when we (frequently) visit Lübeck. The city is about 5 miles from the hotel and there is a regular bus route with a stop about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The bus takes you all the way into the centre of the city. Hotel is situated on the edge of a wooded area and rooms are quiet. Breakfast caters for most tastes with a varied selection of food. When arriving, the owner was more than happy to help with carrying the luggage up the stairs. There are 3 excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.

I like almost everything in this hotel and would definitely recommend it. However, if there's anything I would suggest, I would say that if the shower curtain could be upgraded to a glass door, then this hotel would certainly have a 4/5 star standard in the room!
