This family-friendly hotel in the Marchwald Forest is 5 minutes from the A5 motorway and a 10-minute drive from Freiburg city centre. This was my second time staying here due to my surgery at the Gelenk Klinik nearby and it's a very nice and affordable hotel. It's close to Gundelfingen and pretty close to the center of town. The breakfast is very nice, the bed was super comfy and I had a nice view of the sunset from my room. The staff are friendly and helped me get a taxi to the hospital when I was leaving. I would book again because the price is so good.

Was traveling with a friend and it was very convenient that we were able to get to this room at 0100 in the morning and be able to get they key very easily and get straight to bed after a long day. The room was great, and the location was awesome, only a 15 to 20 minute walk to everything in the heart of Freiburg.

Penthouse-Appartements am Güterbahnhof is situated in the Herdern district of Freiburg im Breisgau, 2.1 km from the old town. Colmar is 37 km from the property. Great apartment, very well located in the city center. Nice, bright living room with a comfortable sofa set, a fully equipped kitchen with all the facilities required. Spacious bedrooms, comfortable bedding, large wardrobe. Electric blinds in all rooms, very practical. A nice balcony (which we didn't use as it was very cold winter days). We had a Private parking reserved. WIFI works well. Really a great apartment for an excellent stay!

The place was warm, very clean, with a decently stocked kitchen, and well connected to the city center with just one tram line. The internet worked well, which was a big plus. The only inconvenient part was having to walk through a section of forest to get to the station, though it was well lit and safe. The host wasn’t the most responsive, but overall it was a good stay.

I remote-worked in the lobby after checkout, it was great. I couldn't find anything to do nearby.
