Absolutely beautiful property! Sooo much space and everything was so well maintained with the gardener seemingly working around the clock to keep everything beautiful.
This property is an oasis 20-30 minutes away from Quito airport and one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been to. There’s a gorgeous pool, some ponds, hammocks, tons of space to walk around, a football and basketball court and areas to sit and hang out at.
This place is also a paradise for dog lovers - they have 3 beautiful and sweet dogs that will love to hang around you all the time and accompany you where ever you go on the property. They’re incredibly sweet.
The service has been phenomenal. I can’t remember the young lady’s name but she’s been extremely kind and took hospitality to the next level. She made sure that I could enjoy my stay to the fullest, helped me with everything I could ask for and was great to talk to (I was a solo traveler). She also speaks excellent English!
Last but not least, the food was to die for! It felt like I was eating at a Michelin star restaurant. Everything is made from scratch and pretty much all of their fruits and vegetables come from their own garden. Highly recommend the tenderloin and shrimp casserole. They also make excellent fresh juices with exotic fruits to die for. The prices are incredibly affordable (for people from North America and most European places) and you get impressive quality for the price.
The breakfast that’s included topped everything - homemade yucca bread, fresh juice, coffee and scrambled eggs. They even had amaranth milk since I don’t drink dairy milk.
The rooms were clean, the bathroom has a nice shower with hot water and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and the bed was extremely comfortable.
I will most definitely be back for a longer stay at this peaceful Oasis. Thanks for everything, it was lovely :)

It was great for a short stay in Quito to catch a connection flight as the hotel is super close to the airport. The room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was really tasty. The personal assistant well was always kind and helpful.

Very comfortable and close to the airport for an early morning shuttle. The roof top is a wonderful place for a view, hang out and play cards or read in a hammock. Or just chill and enjoy the farms around you.

We stayed here just for one night between two flights and it was perfect for that purpose. The owner kindly picked us up at the airport and also drove us early the next morning to catch our flight, for a small fee. Both hosts are extremely kind and welcoming, which made us feel very comfortable from the start.
The owner speaks excellent English and shared many useful and interesting insights about Ecuador and the Galápagos, where we were heading the next day. In the evening, they even prepared a delicious pizza for us, which was exactly what we needed after a long travel day. They also have an adorable dog that made our stay even more pleasant.
The room was comfortable, quiet, and we slept really well. Overall, a short but truly enjoyable stay, and we are very grateful for the warm hospitality.

I would not take a walk around the area, not even in the daytime. It was out in the boondocks. Heavy traffic through the little village. I would recommend giving yourself at least a half an hour it you want to go to the airport.

We stay here to break up the trip from Toronto to Cuenca. There isn't enough time between the arrival of our international flight to the departure of our domestic flight to make the connection, so we check in have a great breakfast and sleep in luxurious, comfortable beds before leaving the next morning for our final destination. Everything about the Wyndham is wonderful ... staff, food, service ... all exceptional. We highly recommend this property.

If you expect a Hilton type environment and a great chef this is not it. This hotel is for a person that enjoys nature and expects a reasonable comfort and a safe environment. Cumbaya is a new town completely self contained. It is not necessary to visit Quito except for the museums and historic places that Quito offers.

The owner was amazing! All staff was kinfmd and helpful and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Perhaps the most most beautiful trees I've ever seen in Ecuador. The guest cabins are clean and can accommodate multiple people. A heated pool and a bar with the music of our choice? What more could we ask for? It seems a bit off thr beaten path but still 15 minutes from airport. Next time we go, it will be just to enjoy the grounds, pool and have fun. Highly recommend!!!

The hosts were exceedingly helpful. Fernando picked me up from the airport (about 10km from the hotel) and brought me back there as needed. I had an extra day, and not having a car, Fernando and his wife took me all the way into downtown Quito to visit a museum and to get a feel for the city. They picked me up again exactly at the set time.
They also ordered pizza for me because there are not many restaurants nearby. Fernando and his wife really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. They have a number of houses German style, a swimming pool, and a lovely winter-garden like breakfast room with a lovely view of their beautiful garden. Breakfast was excellent and just the right amount!

This is your place if you're looking for affordable, close and easy access to the airport. I'm not aware of any particular activities in the immediate area. It's far from the city centre. We were being picked up to head out of town the next morning, so can't comment on the hotel's proximity to any activities or sightseeing. The taxi was only $10.00 and the drive was only about 15 minutes.
