Absolutely cracking place, very tidy, friendly staff happy to help when required, Martin I think it was on the desk when I checked out gave me some good advice. Room immaculately clean and the bed, very comfortable with good black out curtain. The only slight annoyance was the time set on the automatic light (needs to be longer). Facilities were good, kitchen clean, 5th floor terrace very nice and great place to get sunburnt. I've said this about hostels before...How can they be cheaper, cleaner and more accommodating than bigger hotels???

We stay on the 5th floor, terrace overlooking the sea .Everything perfect even if there were some small minor defects in the room ,Something important to specify , if you stay for more than 5 days, you must know that breakfast is the same every day ,So for more then 5 days you got bored of the same breakfast . Refrigerator in the room, Smart TV Air conditioning Daily cleaning .Everything was perfect.It deserves a grade of 9.5

    Can Pastilla is a very peaceful town with a large, beautiful beach and many great places to walk. The promenade to Palma is perfect for running. Unlike Palma, it’s quiet and relaxing, with excellent restaurants. Highly recommended!

    Playa de Palma is beautiful with a beautiful beach and many places to find a drink or meal. The only major drawback is that the hotel feels more like a “mini Germany,” since it’s a very popular holiday spot for German travelers. If you’re hoping for something that feels more local, just keep that in mind.

    We stayed at Hotel Illusion Calma where Staff are really welcoming & helpful. Great variety & quality of food at both breakfast & dinner. We had a lovely corner room with balcony over pool, beds & pillows very comfy and housekeeping excellent. Location is so good, beach just a few minutes walk away & you can also walk along the coast all the way to Palma, fabulous! Can Pastille has lovely mix of locals who seem very happy to be surrounded by tourists All inclusive is fantastic value.

    Not my favourite area of Mallorca.

    Not my favourite area of Mallorca. It feels a bit lads holiday/staggy with kebab shops, tattoo shops and fish pedicure bars everywhere, and there are some unsavoury characters selling 'items' on the promenade who approach you, which I hadn't seen anywhere else on the island. We were there as an adult couple, but wouldn't be bringing children here in future. The plusses are the proximity to the airport (although it's probably an hour by public transport to Palma city itself). The beaches are clean, and it is reasonably priced to eat and drink in this area. But I wouldn't come back - there are far nicer spots elsewhere.

    The neighborhood of the hotel is quite calm and not so loud as it resides the north part of playa de Palma. the south part is more busy with loud tourist, but at midnight all loud public music is turned off.

    Didn’t research the location and it wasn’t for us!

    Didn’t research the location and it wasn’t for us! It is not really Spain, but Germany - which is fine if that’s what you are after. The whole place was full of large groups of mostly men in football kits and the chanting was constant so it was like staying in a football stadium. We were right in the middle of the action so not the peaceful break we had anticipated. Fun to see people having a good time but it was soo noisy 24/7 Luckily bus was only 2 euros and frequent so escaped to palma every day
