A very cozy, well maintained country house with a lot of history, the beds were amazing (slept very well) and above all the host Pat was very helpful and kind. The house is very warm, there is everything you need. I recommend it if you want to spend a weekend away from the bustle of the city

Gateway Glamping, een accommodatie met een terras, ligt in Farranfore, op 15 km van St Mary's Cathedral, 17 km van INEC, en 18 km van Siamsa Tire Theatre. We hebben drie nachten overnacht hier. De pods waren supernieuw, schoon en goed uitgerust. Klein maar goed bed. Gezellig ingericht. Goed contact met de eigenaar die we niet hebben gezien maar goed contact mee. De eigenaar heeft gepoogd ons nog op te zoeken maar wij waren op pad. De omgeving (natuur) buiten het terrein is uiteraard geweldig. Vlakbij de pods een winkel op 1 minuut lopen die tot 22.00 open was.

The house is beautiful, exactly as the photos, very spacious and very welcoming. Helena the host even bought milk,bread and some cakes for us! So very kind. We would highly recommend the house and would certainly book it again if we go back to Kerry.

We were really very satisfied, one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. The house is sepatated, approached by a narrow road that ends shortly after at another house, so only once we had to meet another car. We had complete privacy, the house is neatly equipped, everything works well and there is everything you need for a family stay. It is in the middle of a garden with lots of flowers and green, a beautiful place. Mrs Ann is very helpful and kind. Excellent base for trips to Killarney National Park, the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry.

Een ontbijt dat vers wordt bereid op bestelling en huisgebakken scones en vanmorgen zelfs kaneelbrood. Lekkerste dat ik ooit heb gegeten. Rustige omgeving en met een kwartiertje zit je in het centrum. Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf hier.

Lisheenbawn Farmhouse Farranfore by Trident Holiday Homes bevindt zich in Farranfore, op 21 km van Siamsa Tire Theatre en 22 km van St Mary's Cathedral, en biedt accommodatie met voorzieningen zoals... It’s a renovated traditional two story farmhouse on a 180 acre dairy farm half way between Kerry Airport and the village of Castleisland. You need a car, I recommend Hertz. It’s the whole house! Mary welcomed us with a generous great welcoming basket full of groceries to supplement what was already in the well equipped full kitchen. Nealy took us to the Monday morning cattle sale and showed us the daily milking routine. So fascinating! We missed the date to return the car but Nealy brought us back from the airport when we had to return it and Mary took us back the next day to make our flight out. They didn’t have to do that as there are plenty of taxis but that’s what country folk do in Ireland is my guess.

There was a small grocery with fresh meats and vegetables and the nicest ladies working there a mile from the home. Easy day trips to the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsula. Super comfortable beds!
